El libro ha evolucionado enormemente desde el comienzo. En serio. Es increíble. Recuerdo cuando al principio todo se trataba sobre una asesina tratando de ganar su libertad.
Una de mis partes favoritas de este libro es como todo empieza a cobrar sentido. Al final, resultó que las cosas más insignificantes tenían un significado. Resultó que todo lo que pasó a través de los cuatro libros anteriores tenían un propósito. Y eso fiue asombroso. El hecho de que Sarah J. Maas haya tenido todo planeado desde el principio fue maravilloso. Cada detalle importaba. Es una obra maestra.
Si han leído mis previas reseñas sobre esta saga, ya sabrán bien qué opino de ella. Es innovadora y llena de talento, belleza y oraciones tan buenas que harán que te sea imposible para de leer. Eso es algo que también me sucedió mientras lo leía: no podía parar de leer en el medio de un capítulo Y TAMPOCO al terminar uno. Cada capítulo te deja con ganas de más. Es impresionantemente brillante.
Me ha encantado como los personajes han evolucionado a través de la historia, como han cambiado y crecido. Todo empieza a tener un cierre. Pero siento que realmente no se puede decir mucho sobre ellos sin spoilear a alguien.
Así que solo diré que que Sarah J, Maas ha construido unos personajes maravillosos a través de esta saga. ¡Realmente llegas al punto donde te preocupas por lo que les pasan! Y esta conexión que la autora crea entre el lector y los personajes es algo que nunca había visto. Sí, me había pasado antes, pero nunca de este modo. Los personajes de esta saga son... humanos. Son perfectos. Y cuando digo perfectos en realidad quiero decir "llenos de imperfecciones y propensos a cometer errores", lo cual los hace, al fin y al cabo, HUMANOS. Y amo eso.

¡Eso es todo lo que diré! ¡Lo juro! Simplemente quería decir esto. Nunca había llorado tanto por un libro. Cuando lo terminé quedé en un estado de shock por un día entero. Creo que aún no lo he superado y jamás lo haré. Fue devastador. DEVASTADOR. Tuve que leerlo más de una vez para poder digerirlo todo.

¿Lo recomiendo? Si aún no has leído esta saga, no tengo la menor idea de por qué. LEÉLA. DEBES LEERLA. Estos libros son de mis favoritos, te dejan sin palabras más de unas millones de veces y simplemente te enamorarás de todo lo que contienen.

"Empire of Storms" is the fifth book in the "Throne of Glass" series which is, in case you already don't know, one of the best book series ever. So let's just begin with the juicy part of this review, shall we?
The book has evolved enormously since the beginning of it all. Really. It's amazing. I remember when it was all about an assassin trying to win back her freedom. And just that. Good times those...
One of my favorite things about this book is how things start fitting together and making sense. In the end, it turned out that even the most insinificant things had a purpose. It turned out that everything that has happened since the beginning of the series had a reason to happen. And that was wonderful. The fact that Sarah J. Maas had a plan all the time that we readers were not aware of is just breathtaking. It turned out that every detail mattered. And it's just a masterpiece.
The thing I love the most is how the author can make your heart stop with just a sentence. Just. A. Sentence. I loved its unexpected twists in every chapter. I think that's what makes it fantastic; the fact that every chapter reveals something you didn't expect. It's not like in other books where things like that happen once in a blue moon. Sarah J. Maas fills her pages with unexpected things that will stop your heart and breathing processs.
If you've already read my previous reviews about the other books in the series, you'll already know what I think about Maas' writing. It's breathtaking and filled with talent, beauty, chills and sentences that will make it impossible for you to stop reading.
I've loved to see how the characters have evolved through the series, but I think I can't really talk about them in this book without spoiling anyone.
So I'll just say that Sarah J, Maas has built spine-chilling characters where you really get to the point where you care about what happens to them! This connections the author creates between the reader and the characters is something I had never seen before.
