RESEÑA: LA CHICA DEL TREN DE PAULA HAWKINS
SINOPSIS: ¿Estabas en el tren de las 8.04? ¿Viste algo sospechoso? Rachel, sí. Rachel toma siempre el tren de las 8.04 h. Cada mañana lo mismo: el mismo paisaje, las mismas casas… y la misma parada en la señal roja. Son solo unos segundos, pero le permiten observar a una pareja desayunando tranquilamente en su terraza. Siente que los conoce y se inventa unos nombres para ellos: Jess y Jason. Su vida es perfecta, no como la suya. Pero un día ve algo. Sucede muy deprisa, pero es suficiente. ¿Y si Jess y Jason no son tan felices como ella cree? ¿Y si nada es lo que parece?Tú no la conoces. Ella a ti, sí.
El libro está rodeado por buenas críticas por todos lados, pero no todo es lo que parece.
Llevaba ya un tiempo sin saber si leer este libro o no. No conocía mucho de él, pero su portada y contraportada estaban bañadas en misterio. Parecía un buen libro, lleno de buenas críticas, así que lo compré con altas expectativas.
Resultó ser que el libro no era tan bueno como lo decía su sinopsis, ni siquiera parecido.
La protagonista es una adicta que pasa la mayor parte del tiempo borracha. No tiene trabajo, está divorciada, es obsesiva, llama a su ex-esposo todas las noches y se niega a aceptar que su matrimonio terminó (aunque ella no lo crea). Está bien, nos encontramos frente a un protagonista con problemas, pero lo peor fue que en ningún momento del libro Rachel muestra avances. Nunca se preocupa en buscar un empleo (el que perdió por haber ido a trabajar borracha), nunca se preocupa en dejar de tomar. Se la pasa obsesionándose en llamar a su marido y todos los días toma el tren. Cada vez que ve a una persona, le inventa un nombre e historia, sin siquiera saber quiénes son. Encuentra su vida tan aburrida, así que solo se emborracha y se obsesiona con otras personas.
Y, ¿lo peor de todo? ¡Esto nunca cambia en ningún momento del libro!
El hecho de que Rachel pase la mayor parte de su tiempo borracha y no recuerde nada hace que todo sea más confuso aún, así que no llegas a entender todo lo que esta sucediendo y varias cosas no tienen sentido.
Ya llegaba al final del libro y no había pasado nada emocionante ni nada de lo que el libro prometía.
¿Me gustó? Nop.
¿Lo recomiendo? En absoluto.

Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. “Jess and Jason,” she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.
And then she sees something shocking. It’s only a minute until the train moves on, but it’s enough. Now everything’s changed. Unable to keep it to herself, Rachel offers what she knows to the police, and becomes inextricably entwined in what happens next, as well as in the lives of everyone involved. Has she done more harm than good?
The book is surrounded by great reviews, but not everything is what it seems.
I had been waiting to read this book for a while. I didn't know much about it, but its cover and synopsis were covered by mystery and suspense. It seemed at great book, full of awesome reviews, so I bought it with high expectations.
It ended that the book wasn't as good as its synopsis promised, not even close.
The protagonist is an adict that spends most of her time drunk. NShe doesn't have a job, she's divorced, she's obsesive, she calls her ex-husband every night and she denies that her marriage is over. Fine, we have a troubled protagonist, but the worst part was that this never changer through the story!! Rachel never cares about not having a job (which she lost because she went to work drunk) and she never worries about her adiction problem. She spends her time obsessing with people, creating stories about people she sees but doesn't actually know. She finds her life so boring that she gets obsessed with the lives of other people and gets drunk.
The worst of it? This never changes through the story!! There's in progress on Rachel's condition!
The fact that Rachel spends most of her time drunk and that she doesn't remember anything most of the time, makes the reading really confusing. So you don't get to understang everything and many things make no sense at all.
I was ending the book and anything exiting had hapenned.
Did I like it? No.
Do I recommend it? Not at all.

Ey, que pena que no te llevaste una buena lectura, por que a mi me gusto, Me lo leí en poco tiempo. Me lo compre por que estaba barato, y termino siendo algo bueno en que invertí el dinero. :3
ResponderEliminarCreo que en algo mejoro, en el final, con lo que hace, yo creo que eso la va a ayudar en el futuro que deje de beber y eso la va a ayudar a conseguir un trabajo. :D Aunque no fue escrito, yo me lo imagino XD
