10 LITERARY hEROINES

Something really important in books are heroes and all of us are inspired by reading of these worlds. We believe in these pages locked into heroes, regardless of physical strength, beauty or etc, fighting for what they believe and are the heroes of our generation.

I'll start from 10 to end up with 1, but I haven't put this girls in any important order.

Literary Heroines

10. Katniss Everdeen:
I feel a terrible weakness by this books, you know? I can't say with words why is that, but I love them. Maybe because this trilogy made me love books and start reading...
Katniss is one of the most rebel and brave characters and she's a complete heroine. She stood against the rules, fought for what she thought that was right and stood up while the Capitol tried to bring her down. The girl on fire!

9. Hermione Granger
We all know Hermione, the most talented and intelligent sorceress from Harry Potter books and she's one of my favorites in the world.
In my opinion, she's not a heroin because of her bravery and all that, but I love her because she always stood there for her friends and fought for them. She believed in that friendship and broke the rules for it.

8. Annabeth Chase:
Percy Jackson is one of my favourite books and I really love greek mitology.
In the books maybe there are thousands of times in which she saves her friends and fights for a better world. But I've chosen her because, as Hermione, she appreciates friendship and believes in it to achieve great things.

7. Cassie Sullivan:
This heroin belongs to the trilogy The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey.
Cassie is a character that I loved immediately. She's a girl who's destroyed, alone and imprisioned in herself. She can't let go her memories and everyhting taht was taen from her. So she fights to get it back, not just to be happy again, but to create a better world.

6. Hazel Grace Lancaster:

We all know Hzel, right? Of course yes!

Hazel is a girl that, despite her sickness, she doesn't think about the bad things that happen, but she sees the world with other eyes. She sees the world as someting beautiful that must be enjoyed as long as it lasts, because beauty isn't forever. Surrounded by love and friendship, she appreciates the world beyond what she has.

5. Juliette Ferrars:
I'm sure not all of you know Juliete but she belongs to the books of Tahareh Mafi: Shatter Me.
Juliette is mentally shattered at the beggining of the story, confined and lost while her only hope are her words. She imagines the world beyond those four walls. Until she's released. So her only wish is to destroy the man who imprisioned her there. But through the story she finds love, friendship and trust, and she realizes that there's no matter for revenge, but to rebuild and better world and recapture the freedom they lost.

4. Tris Prior:
Tris is the main character of the trilogy Divergent byVeronica Roth.
She's always brave and tries to save everyone, no matter the cost of risking her life. She can be a bit stubborn so you'll want to slap her on the face but you might also think: what would you do in her place? And I'd definitely do the same. She's not my favourite heroin, but I admire her too.

3. America Singer:
America belongs to the books The Selection by Kiera Cass.
She belongs to the same kingdom as everyone else, but she doesn't think like them. Her strength in this case isn't physical, but oral. She's different from what everybody has seen and doesn't care about the prizes or whatever she can win, but admires a life she dreams about. And that calls the attention of the kingdom so, with her stubborn attitude and words, she'll be able to change the world.

2. Caelena Sardothien:
Maybe not all of you know this character from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, but should read this books.
Caelena is the assasin of the kingdom, the  most feared, the most beautiful, the bravest. But not everyone really know her heart, as everything that makes her so reckless, is just a shield that protects her, a pillar that holds her. And Caelena is a powerful character capable to reach any point to achive her goals.

1. Clary Fray:
Clary Fray belongs to the world of the Shadowhunters by Cassandra Clare. RECCMMENDED.
Clary is an innocent girl at the beggining of the story, living her life as a normal girl trying to see the most amazing things of the world someday. Until she discovers another world. Love and new friendships lead her to that world where she'll discover who she really if and the secrets that have been hidden from her, trying to overcome the risks of the world of the Shadowhunters.
